I am Jared, an artist based in Toronto, better known as SOFTBOY. Art has always been my passion and the way I bring imagination into something real. It is how I connect with people and share the ideas that inspire me.

Tattooing and illustration are my favourite ways to tell stories. I love creating work that carries meaning and feels personal to the people who wear it. Collaboration is a big part of my process, blending ideas to create something thoughtful and expressive.

My tattoo books are becoming more intentional, allowing me to focus on pieces that feel aligned and meaningful. At the same time, I am opening new ways for people to enjoy my work through Momentary Tattoos, plant-based designs that last one to two weeks and offer a playful way to try on art.

I also own and operate ISLE Tattoo, a studio built around creativity, community, and thoughtful artistic practice. It is a space that reflects the values behind everything I make: clarity, care, and lasting expression.

Whether I’m drawing, tattooing, or building spaces for other artists, my goal is always the same: to share art that resonates and to bring dreams to life.
