What to Know Before Getting Tattooed.

  • What is tattoo flash?

    Tattoo flash refers to pre-drawn designs I’ve created and made available to be tattooed.

    Can I change a flash design?

    I’m open to making small adjustments or using a flash design as inspiration for a full custom piece. Typically though, flash is tattooed as-is. If we make a lot of changes, it becomes a custom design.

    How big are flash tattoos?

    Most flash designs can range from 2–7 inches, depending on the piece. I’ll confirm sizing with you when you book.

    How many times are flash designs tattooed?

    Each flash design is tattooed a limited number of times to keep them exclusive while still giving people the chance to get them.

    What does “Vaulted” mean?

    Vaulted designs (previously marked as “claimed”). These flash pieces have already been tattooed and moved into my archive.

    I often use these pieces as inspiration, so if you’re drawn to one, feel free to reach out! We may be able to create something unique inspired by it.

  • Tattoos start at $200 CAD. Final pricing is based on the design, details and placement.

    • Do I need to leave a deposit for a tattoo appointment?


      Yes, deposits are required to secure your tattoo appointment. Deposits go toward the final cost of your tattoo and are non-refundable.

    • What payment methods do you accept for tattoos?


      Payments for tattoos can be made by cash or card.

    • Can I bring my own design for a tattoo?


      I’m happy to use your design as a jumping-off point, refining it to create a unique tattoo

    • Do I need to purchase a design online to book with you?

      Nope. Simply inquire about a design here and I’ll give you a quote for our session.

    • Where are you located?

      I work in my own private studio called ISLE Tattoo

    • What is your refund policy?


      Deposits for tattoo appointments are non-refundable. For design purchases, refunds are not offered due to the nature of digital products.

    • What happens if I need to reschedule my tattoo appointment?


      Reschedules must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid losing your deposit.

What to Know Before a Commission.

  • I accept a wide range of illustration commissions, including personal artwork, editorial projects, album covers, apparel graphics, tattoo designs and creative collaborations.

  • Tell me about your project using the form below. If it feels like a good fit, I'll get back to you with a quote, timeline and next steps.

  • Every project is quoted individually based on its scope, complexity and intended use.

    Personal commissions generally begin around $300 CAD, while larger or commercial projects are quoted accordingly.

    • Finished artwork is delivered digitally in high resolution.

    • Personal commissions also include a signed archival print of the completed illustration.

    • Commercial projects include deliverables appropriate to the project!

  • Yes! I welcome commissions from publishers, musicians, brands, agencies and other creative teams looking for original illustration.

  • Absolutely. If your commission is intended to become a tattoo, you're welcome to use it for that purpose.

Momentary Tattoos

    1. Clean the area with the included primer wipe and let the skin dry.

    2. Remove the clear film and place the tattoo face down.

    3. Press a damp cloth or sponge firmly for 30 seconds.

    4. Remove the backing paper and allow the tattoo to air dry.
      Your tattoo will appear faint at first and will fully develop after 24–36 hours.

  • How long do they last?

    Each momentary tattoo lasts 5–10 days, depending on aftercare, friction, and placement.

    Are they safe for sensitive skin?

    The formula is plant-based and gentle on all skin tones.
    If you’re prone to sensitivities, perform a small patch test before full application.

    Can I use lotions or sunscreen over the tattoo?

    Yes, once the tattoo has fully developed (after 24–36 hours).

    Avoid lotions, oils, or sunscreen immediately after application, as they may affect development.

    Are they waterproof?

    Yes, once developed, the tattoos are waterproof and hold up to showering, swimming, and daily wear.

  • Semi-permanent tattoos fade on their own, but removal can be sped up with:

    • Oil (coconut, jojoba, baby oil, or cleansing oil)

    • Micellar water

    • Makeup remover

    • Gentle exfoliation with a cloth or loofah

    Massage oil into the tattooed area, let it sit for 1–2 minutes, and wipe away. Repeat as needed over 24–48 hours.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Yes, packages will make it to Canada, the US, the Caribbean, the UK, Europe and most international locations.

    Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

    Reach out as soon as possible.

    Once an order has shipped, it cannot be redirected.

  • Do you accept returns?

    For hygiene and safety reasons, all momentary tattoo sales are final.

    What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

    Email hey@softboy.ca within 7 days with your order number and clear photos.
    The issue will be reviewed and a replacement or store credit will be applied if appropriate.
